    Well, pick, pick, pick.

Ask him if he tried Cntl-L for full screen. Looks good to me, here.

    Mel,

For some reason, doing it in Adobe is unsatisfactory for him (dunno why).

    Marco,

Neat tip. except it doesn't work on my machine (Dell XPS with XP). I passed the tip on to my friend though.

    Thanks guys.

    Learn something new every day!

(That might be a neat 'dirty trick' to play on someone if you are working with them at their computer and they have to run out for a potty break or something!)

(Hmm, I wonder if I can get that to work thru PC Anywhere when I'm logged on to a client system? That for sure would alert the client "Hey, I'm using this machine and I really don't want you to 'help' or change any settings right now!")

With [CTRL]+[ALT]+[ARROWS-KEYS] you can rotate the entire display anytime, with Windows XP.
If the videocard & drivers support that function, off course, but today near all do.

    Bye!

    Rotating pdf images

A friend has need of a program to rotate pdf images (sheet music for pianos). Does anyone know of any freeware that does it?

    Here is his actual request:

A piano playing friend put his laptop on his piano to play "CD Sheet Music" (pdf) files. He rotated the laptop 90° so that the narrow side is up. He now needs a program to rotate the pdf music image 90° to correspond. I found a free program (Irotate) that does that on my computer, but it doesn't work on his.

There is a commercial program Pivot Pro ($45) that works, but has a 30 day trial, then pay.

Q: Can PB be used to design a screen rotator, including the desktop and mouse?

Note: Adobe Reader itself can rotate the image, but it is a lot more convenient if done in the BIOS (my video can do that), or a separate program, as above.
