The Windows taskbar seems to be specialized rebars. Is there a way to create one of a fixed size and have multiple programs stack there even if there is space on either side. On my system at the bottom right is a rebar with the text 'Desktop >>'. When you click the >> it pops the desktop icons. I'd like one where if I have multiple programs open, they will stack the same way.
