  • Help with AVI

    I have created a AVI file that I want to display on a dialog
    that is being created using DDT.

    The path and name of the AVI file is "\pbdll60\psasset\psasset.avi"
    The handle to the dialog is hpsassetForm1&

    Could someone give me the code to play this AVI.

    What do I put in the RC/PBR file?

    Thanks in advance.

    Phil

    Phil;

    MCI commands are the way to go !

    You simply create a generic child window and then using MCI
    send a command to Windows to use that window for playing a video
    and windows should take care of the rest.

          Another source of information. Even though its in VB,
          it's a good place to learn.

            Semen,

            Thanks for the link to your example code. I'm up against a deadline
            (trade show), so I don't know if I'll get much chance to play, but I
            will in May.
