I always use a maximized IDE-window (PBWin). The "view" window simply eats too many pixels from the main Window to have it permanently open. In PBWin7 I had my options edited in a way that I got a messagebox, only when an error occurred during compilation. In PBWin8, however, I cannot get this working! The message box also appears when the program compiles successfully, which I do not need nor want. So it's either: always a messagebox or never a messagebox, the latter forcing me to use the view window or at least to open it when the compilation fails. Am I missing something or ...?

No problems with this?
Sorry for pulling this message to the top again. Does really nobody have problems with this PBEdit behaviour?

You might send an email to [email protected] and ask them how to set your options to obtain the desired behavior.
(I sure couldn't figure out how to do it, although I did confirm the options are changed immediately , i.e., you don't have to end and restart the IDE to make them effective. PB/WIN 8.03).
Kinda sounds like a 'support' thing, anyway.

"They" never did.. officially anyway.
Somewhere in the 'terms and conditions' (to which we all "agreed") it says this is not an official venue for support, although from time to time PB employees might participate.
