  • Printing edgeways ... ?

Is there a ready-made method whereby one can print a document
or report along the depth of the paper (e.g. on an A4 Laserjet
printer) so as to fit in a report which is too wide for the
width? Lotus 123 (DOS) had something like that, I think, which
turned the printout on its side.

    Information will be appreciated.

You mean landscape printing? There are several examples to select Landscape mode using the DocumentProperties() API... just search the BBS for "landscape".

If you mean printing text vertically while remaining in portrait mode (who knows why you'd ever want to do this!), just create a font with the appropriate LOGFONT settings for .lfEscapement and .lfOrientation (these two must be set to the same value in Win9x) - see WIN32.HLP under LOGFONT.

Thank you, Lance. Found information and it works (provided the
      vertrRes and horzRes are reversed!)
