Hi all, I know how to set the background color a rich edit
control - but what message\function does one use to retrieve
the background color of one?

Edwin, I have the constant definition already; after looking back in the
help guide I never before noticed that the old color is returned
when you use %EM_SETBKGNDCOLOR. Ok, problem solved.
