Tab Control Color with XP Theme

When using “Windows Classic” theme, the background color of a tab control can be set by subclassing the control and processing the WM_ERASEBKGND message (using code similar to that posted by Chris Boss). However, since implementing “Windows XP” theme into my programs, that method is no longer working. Before posting code, I thought I’d see if anyone else has experienced this and understands the issue.

I think there is no way to do it unless you switch off XP theme on tab control.
