  • PB9, COM, and Jose's typelib browser...

    Hello,

Does PB9 do what Jose's typelib browser, etc does or have all the enhancements in 9 simply allowed one to 'publish' COM objects. I ask because I've got something started using Jose's utility, and I'm wondering if it's even worth the effort to try to figure it out doing it the 'PB9' way. BTW: I'm talking to a 3rd party library, in case that influences the decision. Again, the question is: do I forge ahead with Jose's approach or switch?

No. It's 100 times easier and more straightfarward.

      I have switched

With the new compilers, you no longer need wrapper functions, but interface declarations.

I have translated all my old COM examples to the new syntax and are available in my forum, so you can compare them with the old ones.
