Limit text in edit field to 2 characters?

Hi,

If this is possible: How do I limit text in a edit field to 2 characters.
Do I do this in PB Forms or do I need to wait until I work on the program in PBEdit (PB/Win IDE)?

In the PB IDE, assuming that you want the edit control to have that limitation from inception, then place a CONTROL SEND statement between the following two statement from the code generated by PBForms:

#PBFORMS END DIALOG

  DIALOG SHOW MODAL hDlg, CALL ShowDIALOG1Proc TO lRslt

In the IDE, DDT code in the callback's WM_INITDIALOG handler

                CONTROL SEND CBHNDL, %IDC_TEXTBOX1, %EM_SETLIMITTEXT, 2, 0
