I use Vista 64-Bit here and PB works just fine with it, as do the compiled exe's and dll's.

PowerBASIC is fully compatible with every 32-bit and 64-bit version of Windows.

So PB will work in Vista.
The issue would be if I crate something that would ahve to access > 4G.
Otherwise, creating an exe and using it on a Windows XP or Server 2003 would be ok...
    Right?

My short answer was based on this article:

but i am not an expert myself, and Bob knows better than us all about the PowerBASIC's capabilities of memory addressing.

    With a 32-bit application you can't access over 3Gb.

Vista 64 bit /PB for Simple stuff

I utilize PB9 to create simple exes to do ftp, file manipulation, etc,.
Once I create the apps on the home machine I use it on the work system running Windows Server 2003.
I'm thinking of getting a new system with Vista 64 on it so I can access 6-8G of memory.
Since I'm not doing anything really whiz bang...do you think I'll run into problems with 64bit Vista?
Working...
