  • Powerbasic conversion ?

    Hello everyone.

I thought I had seen a conversion program that will take a Powerbasic program (in Dos) and convert it to a working Powerbasic for Windows. Is that around? I thought it would be a nice way to convert a working program from DOS Powerbasic to Windows Powerbasic and I could study it.

    Thanks.

I don't ever remember seeing such an animal. Sorry. Maybe there is one but I can't think of it and I've been around here since 2000 or so.

Maybe it is Quickbasic to Powerbasic I am thinking of. I was thinking I had seen one. Be nice if there were one! But I can understand why there might not be one.

There are a few qbasic to pb conversion programs. Check out the list in the Tools Download section: http://www.powerbasic.com/support/downloads/tools.htm

          Robert:

What actually exists is a QB to PBDOS converter. Anyway, to convert a PBDOS program to PBCC is really a minor task, provided you are only using your own native PB code.

          Regards,
