    I use Registry Clean Pro and it's done a lot of good for me, takes ouit orphan items that were left over from installs etc, validates current objects etc...

    The one that has a Lion on the splash screen - we had BIG problems with that one at work - corrupted profiles etc.

      Does more than clean the registry.
      Some software may install information in the registry for licensing. If removed the software may need to be re-installed. For example, one piece of software, I don't remember the name, installed a key under the help key several keys down. The keys were just numbers and it looked corrupted. Took me a while to understand it was a copy protection scheme.
