Simple Callback Question

Let me add another,

Is 1) the Callback function only envoked upon call,
or, 2) does it start running upon creation ?

If 1) can you trap the messages before destroyed?

If 2) how do you access it's messages from outside the
Callback function?

Is there a way to detect the mouse leaving/or having left
the dialog rect from with-in it's Callback function?
