Hi !

I have recently met another little problem in Win2K. I have a small app that when compiled and run under win'95/98 gives the error message "this is not a win32 program". This is easily solved by going to the icon's properties and ticking the 'prevent ms-dos based programs from detecting windows' - all okay. In win2K, I have a pc that gives the same problem when I try to run the .exe file (from command line dos as well as from explorer). Is there a way to similarly set the icon under win2k ?

It's the exact same way as in previous versions of Windows... locate the EXE with Windows Explorer, right-click and select Properties.

Out of curiousity, what sort of program is this? It is obviously not a Windows program...

Yes it is Lance.

It is a small utility written with PBDLL6 for printing barcode labels. It also uses don's ddoc program (for the mailing engine). Perhaps its don's fault my prog won't work !!! No seriously, I don't know why Lance but the only way I solved this was to re-compile my program and resend it to the client. It's working
