Does anyone have code they would be willing to share that can detect if the logged on user has administrative privledges on a WinNT machine?

George,
have a look at http://www.netfokus.dk/vbadmincode/ .
There's plenty of (Visual) Basic code dealing about Networking.

P.S. The files included in the ACCOUNT.ZIP do work for me (using VB).

Just to continue
I added a test into internet loader (I need full access to registry) and imm. received some letters from administrators.
From one side, they do not want to give privileges to users, from another side - do not want to update a software by themselves (it's necessary to do some times per month).
So, I search a way, how to set privileges exactly to my app only.
I found http://www.codepile.com/tric7.shtml but this trick looks too undocumented and depends from OS.
Probably, somebody saw alternative idea ?
