    semen,

i believe, the toolbar buttons that are with "dropdown" style, also
has "dropdown" style in the popup window. a mouse click action on this
"popup" toolbar simulate the mouse click in the real toolbar button.

the only example i have seen was by adam ritchie, but never saw code, just exe-demo.

    look into...
    Code:
'our toolbar may have dropdown buttons, so must set the extended style
    call sendmessage( hwndtb, %tb_setextendedstyle, 0, %tbstyle_ex_drawddarrows )
    ...and
    %tbn_dropdown 'notify message
    regards,
    jules

example of ddt with dropdown style...

Thanx, Jules, I already found TBSTYLE_EX_DRAWDDARROWS in MSDN.
Meanwhile actually I need to draw all by myself (text for buttons, tooltips, dropdown menu).
A reason is a codeset troubles (under Win2000 and XP, according MSDN, also).
I need russian text, but codeset in common controls and standart classes depends of regional settings (these controls take facename/size from hFont and re-create a new font - stupid Microsoft idea).
My program should be independent of PC settings.
      Fortunatelly, TextOut works normally.
