Keyboard standarts

Eh, arrow left/right? Only way I've ever seen it done. For own app',
I have also used Ctrl + arrow left/right for scrolling far right/left.
Not standard, so never used it in public code though.

Guys --
Want to made common keyboard input for "helpbox" and search text box.
With vertical scrolling - no problems (PgUp/Dn, LineUp/Dn), Ctrl-Home/End.
But how to scroll horizontally ? (home / end are already busy by text box)

I understand that actually could be any choice, but better to use well-known combination.
Unf., I have no idea, what is typical here.
