    The earlier discussions brought back memories of struggling over the 8 queens problem when recursion was introduced. Here's a graphic version that can be animated or not.

    I had never heard of the 8 queens problem before.

    Anybody else in same boat, check:

        It is one of the puzzles in the 7th guest game from virgin games.
        One of the best games ever.
