  • %SFF_PLAINRTF or %SF_RTF

I can read in MSDN what %SFF_PLAINRTF does, but it's not clear why I would want to do that. Is there a practical reason for using %SFF_PLAINRTF?

If specified, only keywords common to all languages are streamed in. Language-specific RTF keywords in the stream are ignored.
Is a non-common keyword likely to sneak into my code, and if it does, how badly will I be hurt?
