    The data about the overall effectiveness of advertising is centuries old.
    They still use two (2) percent as the benchmark for direct mail advertising.

    (Mail one hundred pieces; get two calls to your "1-800" number or responses to the bingo card= success! )

      OK, well, I'm satisfied that I now know enough to stop thinking about this topic. It's not my area of expertise, and I'm not going to stick my nose into it any further. Leave it to the experts, etc.
