  • Using PBCC as a website backend for a SPA

I've been asked a couple times to show an example of using PBCC as a back end to a single page web app.
It works very well. I've created complex, robust SPA's using PBCC as my back end.
Though I mostly work with MySQL (MariaDB) the process is the same and besides the lexical difference, would be the same for about any database.

I have working example here using an SQLite database.
The user and password are both "test".

I'm attaching both the BAS and web source files.
I wrote this from scratch in about 3 hours today.

I've got a few small SPA's at work that interface with our ERP system. PB/CC makes it ridiculously easy. What's your web server of choice?

Mostly IIS, though I've done desktop apps in a browser using TinyWeb

I moved our intranet from IIS 7 to Apache when we upgraded the server to 2016. For our use, Apache was much easier to set up/maintain. I've not tried tinyweb, will look into it.
