    Yes, but not before.

    I forgot to add

When finished diddling around, Save the program without the AA in front and delete the AA_Program_Name.Bas & AA_Program_Name.exe from the working folder so it doesn't look like a phonebook.
My apologies to any who may have been misled or misconfused.

    A. What if everybody started their program names with "AAA?" It would be like the Yellow Pages of the phone book... almost a 'contest' to see who can be first.
I aggree, but in this case I think the point was WHILE testing code that is "just not quite right" then it is helpful to find it fast. (I have the same problem from time to time, so this is a helpful hint that I had not thought of). The other thing is the processes list has to be organized alphabetically to be of use

    B. You can click on "image name" in Task manager to sort by that, select the first one, then type the correct starting letter, just as in file explorer.
I found the same thing, but also works if you just pick the 1st process, and then each time you hit the 1st letter, it moves down the list.

All in all....NICE TIP for those of us that either forgot or never noticed before

    Windows Task Manager Tip

Tip: When fooling around with a program that runs and doesn't display for some reason and requires a shutdown by Windows Task Manager, start the program name with "AA", ie. AA_Program_Name.Bas.

That way when ACDing (AltCtlDel) the Windows Task Manager up, all that has to be done is click on the Image Name tab, and it will be at the top of the list. Much easier than looking down the (long) list for Program_Name.Exe to end it.

This happens to me every once in awhile when fooling around with Dialog sizes (for example).
