    Fingerprint

How can I interrogate a generic pc to build a fingerprint with few instructions? I made a search in the forum/poffs but I only see md5/rip and others complex functions for hash/cypher coding. Is it possible? Any ideas?

    Fingerprint ?

    You question is rather cryptic..
I assume you want to get serial numbers or ID's from a PC's hardware components?

By employ WMI (very good example, how to use it from Piere here

you can get physical (not serial number assigned by Format command, which is new after any formating) serial number of hard drive, s/n of CPU, MAC address of network adapter, how many RAM installed ... in the same way how it does Windows OS to classified legal copy of installed OS. And only after that create hash based on collected data.
