I have a list of lat/lon coordinates, and I want to create a GIS-industry-standard shape file. Is anybody here familiar with the general process of creating a shape file from raw data? Specifically, I need to create a shape file than can be used with ArcView GIS 3.0, which is the lowest common denominator in this project.
