  • VoIP / SIP programming

Does anybody know an freeware / affordable SDK for VoIP / SIP programming?
I need to migrate an application from analog Dialogic boards to IP.

Most SDK's are pretty expensive (from 900 to 36,000 USD depending on linecount...
It's for a small emergency post with 4-8 lines. I need to be able to:
    - Accept incoming calls and make outgoing calls
    - Transfer calls
    - Send and detect DTMF and single tones
    - Play voiceprompts

There are some freeware SDK's but they lack tone detection capabilities...
For use with PB, a DLL interface would be nice...
    Regards,
    Peter

      Peter:
If you figure this out let me know! I am just starting the same program. Trying to figure out how to get a SIP trunk without going broke.

The Dialogic stuff (Diva softIP ect...) is declared End-of-life years ago.
Developed by Eicon, and went from Eicon -> Dialogic -> Intel -> Sangoma...
Sangoma only sells the old Diva hardware boards, no software solutions...

Hi Peter - My understanding is that the Dialogic stuff I was referencing is pure software and requires no hardware.

            Yes, SoftIP was also software-only...
I'm a little puzzled. I contacted Dialogic last week about Voip-SIP solution and got answer that they stopped years ago with VoIP solution and had no solution for that?
            Regards,

                Emailed Jeremy yesterday, awaiting response...
I assume you only need the licenses marked red for a basic call control?
                Regards,

                  Still no answer...
Just read that Dialogic is acquired by Enghouse (Canada) last week. Maybe that's why the silence...
                  Regards,

I just saw the acquired by Enghouse notice. These links will get you a demo license and the new product.
I have not tried this yet.
