    Hi Dennis,

Please note that you must include your first and last names in your registration, so you will need to reregister before posting any further messages. Thanks!

PS: Which example are you referring? If you can provide a URL to the code, we might be able to help you locate the .INC file.

..it belches about the include file.
      The error message is...
      Code:
      myprogram.bas (145:6) Error 156 BLAAAAP!
      ...????

      I never got that one.

(This is my way of suggesting the <U>actual</U> error message might be a tad more useful).

error 426 in gl.inc(730:158): variable expected
line 730: declare sub glcolorpointer lib "opengl32.dll" alias "glcolorpointer" (byval isize as long, byval ntype as dword, byval stride as long, pointer as any)

thats the error messege i get.

i think part of the problem is that im using opengl32 api includes for pb/dll6.

are there new includes for pbwin7 that will work? i have not found any.

here is the original thread that i was looking at .. the includes i use are also from the same thread.

POINTER is a keyword, and no longer allowed as a variable name.

What part of "variable expected" isn't clear, Michael?

            ???

"Error 426 Variable Expected" was not supplied in the original version of the "error message."

Sure I'm good, but I'm not psychic.

              Dennis,

Change the "Pointer as Any" in the include file by something else like:
              "Pointer1 as Any"

              Regards,
              RValois.
