I didn't grab them yet, but noticed JF now uses new help files. Did FF get the same update? And, maybe making it an option to use either one too if anyone likes the old versions, etc.
And, I almost hyperventilated when seeing the thread thinking the new FF was done...probably could have stated that differently. Hehehe :eat:sigpic

I have not updated FireFly to use the .chm help file because I uploaded the FireFly update before PB released the new compiler. I will upload a separate FireFly EXE for people wanting to use the .chm file. JellyFish should work fine with the .chm help file.
Also, Paul Noble is working on a fix to the Lynx Project Explorer in order for it to use the new PB .chm help file.Paul Squires

FireFly has been updated to Version 2.86 to include support for the new CHM help format used by the new PowerBASIC 8.04 compiler.
JellyFish Pro Editor has also been updated (to version 1.66) due to an Err 53 condition appearing after compiling with the new PB 8.04 compiler. An ErrClear was added to prevent the Err 53 message from displaying on screen during the saving of new source files.
In short, if you use either of these products then you should re-download them.Paul Squires
