"Light Show" and "ShowRoom" are 2 new OpenGL visual plugins for BassBox.



These 2 new plugins have been designed to work in full screen mode.
Try them with some kind of "techno remixed" audio file... and then you will feel like in a teen techno party.

I hope you will consider Midi/kar file support. Espicially if it would also display the embedded lyrics. There a couple of Karaoke players available but I think a Power Basic version would make the other obsolete!

If my wishes could come true... I would like to see a version of BassBox that not only could play KAR and MID files and display their lyrics but also would also have an option to display the embedded musical score, highlighting the notes in time with the music and words. Now, that is a program that would be unique and for which I would pay money.

Wow, been a while since I took a look at this, awesome Visuals...much better than the junk Media Player Comes with.

I Especially love Sunlight, Genesis, Close Encounter, Flash, HAL, and Woofer

Some seem to flicker/repaint lines visible, etc- Impulse (Which would be awesome without the flicker), Light Show, Magic Diamond...

If you see flicker, try playing with the 3D parameters of your graphic card.
Also it is a matter of screen size resolution and CPU velocity, and if the BassBox window is maximized or not.
Some graphic cards have a special setup to synchronise visual effects with the video refresh rate.
The maximum frame rate being used by BassBox is 64 Fps, this is to limit CPU usage.
