  • EZGUI 4.0 Personal Version (PV) on sale! 40% off - Only $29

EZGUI 4.0 PV (Personal Version) is on Sale !

For only $29 (US), which is a 40% savings off its regular $49 price.

It is basically the same thing as EZGUI 4.0 Pro, but with just a few limitations and a "Personal Use Only" software license.

It can be used in a Business as well.

Visit my web site for info about the Personal Version. In the products section, there is a chart which shows you the differences between the two versions (Personal and Pro) and you can also read the Software License to see how it can be used.

There is also an upgrade path from the Personal Version to the pro version, if you later prefer the pro version.

For you hobby programmers out there this is a great deal!

Businesses will also benefit as well (for InHouse use only on up to 3 computers).

Come visit my web site today for more info.

        Turtle graphics macro language

Chris, looking at the screenshot above, the word Turtle captured my attention. So I went to your website, where EZGUI Turtle Graphic Control is listed as a new product. It mentions EZGUI Turtle Graphics macro language, which is of interest to me because of my work on uCalc Language Builder. I was hoping to see some kind of sample code, or maybe a download link, but didn't see any. The page I was looking at is: http://cwsof.com/newweb/index.html . Can you post some kind of code to demonstrate your macro language? Thanks.

          Daniel,

The Turtle Graphics control comes with EZGUI 4.0 Pro as well as the Personal version.

There is also a standalone version which is available separately for use with non-EZGUI application development, such as DDT. It is basically the same control that comes with EZGUI, but with a few changes made for use with non-ezgui environments.

Here is more info about the Turtle Graphic control and its macro language:
User to user discussions of third-party addons and user-recommended links to related web sites. Advertisements are permitted only in this forum, for products designed to work with and enhance PowerBASIC compilers.

There is a link in one post to an RTF file with the documentation of the Turtle Macro language in it.

This looks like a pretty nice deal and I'd probably be tempted but on reading your comparison chart I'm bothered by the fact that your splash screen will always appear every time I test or run my program. That's a painful thing to have to endure.

This seems pretty pointless in a program I can't distribute. It's almost like you want to punish me for not getting the pro version. This is fun stuff for me; hobby stuff. That would sure take the fun out of it.

I hope you'll consider this. And if you do consider it I hope you'll do it before the sale is over.

Here's hoping you'll take this as constructive criticism. That is my intention. I bought your last sale item, the EZGUI Dialog creator, and I like the idea of it. I'm not sure yet that it's something I'll actually use but I might.

              >>EZGUI Turtle Graphics macro language

Dan, the DRAW command in the PB-DOS (and GW-BASIC) manuals might be of interest to you also. It is a near-equivalent of Turtle graphics.
