EZGUI uses only the GDI, DIB's and its own software based proprietary sprite engine. No special hardware needed, but the faster the PC, the faster it runs.

works for me.
windows vista on a relatively fast, new dell machine. haven't had a chance to try it on other machines.
it is very fast .. the balls move too fast to get a good look at them.

I am curious. A good number have download this demo already.
Does it work fine on all your PC's ?
Does it work fine on Windows 2000, XP, Vista ?
How is the speed on most systems ?
Any display problems ?

I updated this Demo!
It now animates 18 bouncing balls (sprites), is faster and it animates the sprites using simple flips. EZGUI also supports animating using frames, but I haven't had a chance to create a multiframed bitmap for a sprite yet. When I create one, I will update this demo.
Also the demo works full screen.
This Demo will work on Windows XP and Vista. No special hardware needed, since this is 100% software based.

EZGUI Layered Window and animation demo
I was playing around with an EZGUI 4.0 Pro example program (Sprites) today and decided to see how the Canvas control works with Sprites, when the parent Form is using the Layered window feature in XP and Vista (only tested on XP).
I created a Demo which demonstrates running animated sprites which appear to float about the desktop. When the sprites demo loses focus, the sprites will alphablend to the desktop background and when the sprite demo has the focus the sprites will be solid.
