Now that you have gbSnippets installed, how do you know if your copies of the source code libraries are up to date?
gbSnippets 1.4 has been released to make that possible. It provides a simple dialog for comparing local libraries with the latest online libraries.
The new version is available at the gbSnippets home page:
In this release, you can manually copy the new/changed snippets into your local library. Another release is in work to support automated/batch import of new/changed snippets into the local library.
Other changes include:
1. The screen flicker that accompanied gbSnippets at startup has been eliminated.
2. An in-situ file import has been added. It appends content of dropped text files to the currently selected snippet.
I welcome comments and suggestions.
