    Was curious, so I clicked:
    ----- server response -----
    Not Acceptable

An appropriate representation of the requested resource /signmeup.htm could not be found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

FireFly 2 registered owners should receive an email soon.

If you do not get an email from me it means that the email that I have on file is no longer valid. I had 79 bounced emails the last time that I sent out a mass email to FireFly 2 users for the new 2.99 serial numbers that were released.

So, if you are a FireFly 2 registered user and you do not get an email from me before this Friday (Oct 30) then please visit the http://planetsquires.com/signmeup.htm web page and get your name entered for very important FireFly notifications.

Haven't received any e-mail yet. Went to the special page to sign up for the latest news on Firefly 3, did so, told me an e-mail would be sent to complete the update process on my new e-mail info, haven't received that e-mail either.

Guess I fell through the electronic cracks.
              Later...

                Hi John,

I checked the server records and it looks like an email was sent yesterday to your "direcway.com" email address. When you signed up via the form you used a "q.com" email address. Not sure, but maybe your spam filters are catching the emails from me?

You can send me an email at [email protected] advising me of which email address that I should use and I will ensure that I update the mailing software correctly.

                Thanks!

I never got an email so I clicked the link and entered my data. I got an email asking me to confirm and when I did I got no response of any kind so I confirmed again...and again...and a few more times. Sorry, I was reading something else and my full attention wasn't on it and I kept clicking. I finally did get 6 comfirmation emails.

This isn't a complaint although I suggest you put some indication of success at the end of the confirmation and not just return an email to acknowledge it, unless you don't mind a lot of clicks.

Anyway I wanted to let you know that I'm a real person and not an ever-clicking bot or something. I was worried that my exuberance would scare you away.

(FireFly3 can now be pre-ordered. The response to the FireFly3 pre-release this weekend has been absolutely fantastic! Thanks to all of the great FireFly customers out there. Your support is greatly appreciated).

(Hey, this was my 2000th post - cool!)

Paul did a tremendous work with FF3, and for those like me that are also using Visual Studio, then it belongs to the same category, the interface is crisp, intuitive and very professionnal.

And the video are very helpful to learn how to use FF3 studio, i am realy impressed.

                        Great work

I know nothing about FF3 and have no idea what is new, but FF2 was an amazing package. FF3 will likely be amazing x awesome.

I fully agree with Patrice. I have been a customer of FireFly-2 from nearly it's first introduction. And, I am now a customer of FireFly-3. I have converted many of my old FireFly-2 programs. The conversion was as simple as it can be. I had no problems at all. I also noticed that many of the FF3 versions of my compiled programs were actually smaller. Some of the larger programs are much smaller.
For ease of use, and for powerful tools you would be hard pressed to find a better GUI tool. FireFly-3 needs to be in every PB programmer's tool bag.

Wow! What a week it's been!

Thanks to everyone out there that has made the pre-launch of FireFly3 such an amazing success! I couldn't ask for better. I have gotten so many wonderful emails and posts in the FireFly forum about FireFly3 - it makes me feel good to know that all of the effort over the past couple of years has paid off.

By the way, the trial version should hit the PlanetSquires website this weekend.

Lots of new videos, tutorials, and training material for all things FireFly and programming in general should follow in the private member's over the next few weeks.

I tried to peek at the planetsquires forums to Gauge users' views and reviews but it seems the forums are open to members only. Would be great if it was possible for a guest visit

I think the reason that Paul closed the forum is that Firefly 2 got cracked and pirates would use the forum for support. He is trying to tighten things up. It is a shame that it has to be this way but I understand. I saw were the demo version of Firefly 3 is available for download which operates as the registered version except that compiled programs will only run for 5 minutes.
