    Bookmark manager

Curious to know what do you use as your bookmark manager? Standard, plug-in, standalone, or cloud based? I have too many bookmarks past and current, I need to organize them into groups. Past bookmarks have been exported. I even started my own manual cut & paste into a spreadsheet then added my comments, they do not show any nice visual icon cue's.

    Howdy, Jules!

As part of a larger app, I get the Chrome bookmark list and display it as a web page in my browser. Sorts the list. No icons.

I use https://www.bookmarkee.com/ and have for several years. Easily available on any computer I am at and any browser. Very simple which is what I like, I do not need fancy graphics, etc.

I wounder if one can Programmatically capture the sites icon to build their own standalone bookmark manager? Gary's way is what I'd like to do.

          It's called a favicon. The HTML will contain something like <link rel="icon" type="image/x-icon" href="/images/favicon.ico">
"Not my circus, not my monkeys."

I just use Firefox's built in Bookmarks menu. I've got hundreds of bookmarks organised in groups/folders up to three levels deep.

They are all stored in a places.sqlite database in my Profile directory and if I want to I can use SQLite Studio on it.

I used to do what Stuart does and had a FireFox update take it out many years ago. Vowed never again. My deceased wife used (and loved) https://www.mymark.me
