  • PM delete only 1? Replies require clearing previous message?

Is there a way to delete just some private messages?
I see the option to empty all.
To reply to a private message are you supposed to clear the message already there?

Note: I've been re-posting messages because unprintable characters often show up.
This message was reposted because it did not post correctly and went into an infinite loop.

Forum said maximum messages is 70. Emptied sent messages.

There are checkboxes to the right of the PM, where you can select individual PM to be deleted.

If you post a message with unprintable characters and you did not put these them yourself, please send me an email or PM with a link to the message.

Thank you found it by clicking the down arrow at end of selected messages. I'll leave next message that posts incorrectly.
Still curious about how to respond to private messages.
      Erase the senders message, first?

      Deleted messages.

I responded to last posting and it said the message entered was too short.
Not sure what caused that. Didn't repost. 11:27 AM

You need to delete some of your PM's, we only allow 70 PMs to be saved (server hard drive space an all). Why not delete the 10, 20, or 30 of your oldest PM's now, so that you will not have this problem when receiving a new PM. If you choose to get an email notification when a PM arrives, you will have a email copy of the PM - the notification contains the complete text of the PM, if you need a save a copy of the PM.
        Sincerely,

You can also save a copy of your PMs to your local hard drive before deleting them. When looking at your inbox, scroll down to the bottom of the page. You'll see options to download the PMs as a text, CSV or XML file.
